YouTube 'guides' giving tips to burglars

A supplier of doors and windows has claimed that burglars are learning their trade on the interent, thanks to 'how to' videos posted on YouTube.

Swish Window and Door Systems has warned that techniques like 'bumping' and 'molegrip' are being spread across the internet. The instructions highlight the weakness in modern uPVC doors.

Speaking to security site info4security a YouTube spokesman said:

"Our community understands the rules and policies the site has for inappropriate material,” a spokesperson said.
"When users feel content is inappropriate they can flag it and our staff then review it as quickly as possible to see if it violates our terms of use. If users repeatedly break these rules we disable their accounts."
