BSIA says compliance with european standards delayed
Published on 28 Jun 2007New standards for E 50131 intruder alarms (defined as intrusion and hold-up alarm systems [I&HAS] installed in buildings using specific or non-specific wired interconnections or wire-free interconnections) have been delayed until further notice according to a joint satement from the BSIA, IPCRes, NSI and SSAIB.
The decision comes after further delays to standards for the EN501X series.
