Phantom pooper revealed by CCTV
Published on 29 Mar 2007A business owner became so disgusted at having to clean up human waste outside his office that he installed a CCTV system to catch the guilty party, reports the Chester and District Standard.
The cameras filmed the the offender as he regularly excreted outside the workplace and eventually he was tried and ordered to pay GBO 1000 compensation and restricted to his house between the hours of eight pm and eight am.
The business owner (who does not wish to be named) commented:
"We were getting really sick of it so we decided to install CCTV worth GBP 6,000 to catch the person." "We are just so pleased it's stopped. It was horrible to have to clean up. It must have happened about 20 times altogether."
