In addition to Safe Homes (UK) Ltd Terms & Conditions which govern your use of our goods and or services, any purchase of products or services by You from Us is also governed by these additional Purchase Terms.
In these Purchase Terms:
"Safe Homes (UK) Ltd" means Safe Homes (UK) Ltd
"Us" means Safe Homes (UK) Ltd either alone or together with You, as the context requires;
"You" & "Your" means the person ordering goods subject to these Purchase Terms.
1. AgreementSafe Homes (UK) Ltd requires the goods installed to be paid for in full on the date of installation, before any work commences. You may pay by MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Delta, Visa Connect, Visa, Switch, Solo (although for certain age-restricted products, only a credit card may be used). You can also pay for your installation via cheque, but we must be in receipt of this, and have all outstanding monies cleared before goods and or services are dispatched.
Upon payment, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will confirm receipt of Your order by an acknowledgement from the engineer or company representative. Once your payment details have been accepted, You will receive a receipt from Safe Homes (UK) Ltd.
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which You submit Your order by speaking to the office on the date of installation, to confirm Your credit card details.
Safe Homes (UK) Ltd requires that a 25% of the goods and or services be paid prior to the delivery date. This deposit is non refundable. If Safe Homes (UK) Ltd has not received this deposit within 48 hours of the commencement of the works agreed, then we hold the right to delay the commencement of works, until in receipt of the deposit. The deposit will be highlighted on your final invoice as part of your total payment.
Your order represents an offer to us to purchase the goods and services. This is accepted by Us when we send You a letter or email confirming acceptance of Your order and enclosing an installation date. A legally binding contract between Us is created at the point of our acceptance of Your order.
Safe Homes (UK) Ltd reserves the right to choose not to accept Your order for any reason, at it's discretion, and will not be liable to You or anyone else in those circumstances.
The supply of products is subject to availability
2. Prices and PaymentAll prices are in pounds (£) sterling, inclusive of VAT.
Prices may change at any time prior to (but not after) acceptance of your order.
In the unlikely event that the price of an item has been incorrectly issued to You, we will contact You (at the address provided with your order details) or telephone You, to ask whether You wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. If You are not happy to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, we will cancel the order and provide You with a full refund of any monies debited.
By using a credit/debit card to pay for Your order, You confirm that the card being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of Your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept Your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform You of the reason for the refusal. Safe Homes (UK) Ltd are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging You as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with Your order.
3. DeliverySubject to availability, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will use its reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods and or services You have ordered, within 14-21 days of You placing the order, but we cannot accept any liability for late deliveries which are due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control. We will deliver the goods and or services direct to the address You specify when You submit Your order.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding bank and public holidays), normally between the hours of 8am and 5pm. The precise timing will be agreed when you select your installation date. If you fail to provide Safe Homes (UK) Ltd access at the agreed time, and the goods and or services can not be delivered, we hold the right to retain the 20% deposit to cover this cost.
Once installed, the goods will become your property (provided they have been paid for in full) and your responsibility and Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will not accept any liability for their loss, damage or destruction after they have been delivered. ALL installations must be signed for.
If the goods and or services You order are not available, for whatever reason, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will inform You of the position by e-mail (at the address provided with your order details) or telephone. If the goods are temporarily out of stock, we will ask if You wish to wait for the goods to become available. Unless You advise Us of your wish to do so, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will refund any money debited from your payment card by re-crediting your account. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any case within 28 days of notifying You of the non-availability of the goods.
4. Your right to cancelYou may cancel Your order (or any part of it) at any stage up to 24 hours before the goods and or services are delivered to. To do this you must notify Us in writing at the following address:

Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will repair, replace or offer a full refund for faulty or defective goods/workmanship for which we are responsible in accordance with Your legal rights. Safe Homes (UK) Ltd offers a 12 month warrantee on all equipment that it installs, and a 3 month (90 day) warrantee on all workmanship services that are offered.
6. RefundsRefunds can be requested by emailing enquiries@safehomes.co.uk and stating the reasons why one is sought. Following Your purchase, refunds will be at our sole discretion. In situations where we deem that a refund is warranted, we reserve the right to deduct such amounts as we view are reasonable to cover the costs of our administration and any other incidental costs incurred. Such costs could be, but are not limited to, debit card/credit card charges on the initial purchase and refund and costs of correspondence relating to the cancellation costs. In any case, the amount of such a deduction will not be less than £10 plus VAT.
7. SecurityWe recommend that You do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including Us, by e-mail. We cannot be responsible for any losses You may incur in transmitting information to Us by internet link or by e-mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by Us, and shall be entirely Your responsibility.

8. GeneralAll credit & debit card payments are taken over the phone with a dedicated office representative. This will be conducted in a secure environment.
Safe Homes (UK) Ltd is not responsible for any 3rd party damage to equipment once it is installed in the premises agreed. If an issue arises where a warrantee claim is made, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will investigate the matter to deem whether it is the equipment at fault, or 3rd party interference has occurred. Safe Homes (UK) Ltd decision on each individual matter and case will be final.
Offers indicated on the website are only valid for UK residents
Safe Homes (UK) Ltd will not be liable to You where performance of any of our obligations to You is prevented or restricted by any circumstance or cause beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for the use You make of the goods. To the extent not prohibited by law, Safe Homes (UK) Ltd accepts no liability for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (which includes loss of profits, contracts, goodwill, opportunity and other similar losses). Safe Homes (UK) Ltd does not limit its liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If any part of these Purchase Terms is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Purchase Terms shall be unaffected and shall remain in force.
These Purchase Terms and any contract between Us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute will be brought before the English Courts, unless You live in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there.
We are required by law to inform You that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
Safe Homes (UK) Ltd may change these Purchase Terms at any time, provided that any such change will not affect any purchases You have made before the change is implemented. The Purchase Terms currently in effect are those published on this website.
